This online bookstore is operated by Trivial Circumstances Press, an independent small press created to share stories and creative works that invite us to slow down, pay attention, and notice the extraordinary hiding in ordinary life.

Orders & Availability
When you place an order, you are agreeing to purchase the items in your cart at the price shown at checkout.
We do our best to keep inventory information accurate, but occasionally the real world has other plans. If an item becomes unavailable after you’ve placed an order, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and provide a full refund for the unavailable item.
You’ll receive an email confirmation when your order is placed.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.
Prices may change from time to time, but a price change won’t affect an order that has already been placed and confirmed.
Payment is required at the time of purchase. Payment options available to you will be shown during checkout.
Shipping
Your order will be shipped to the address you provide at checkout, so please take a moment to make sure everything is correct before placing your order.
Shipping costs and available options will be shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are just that—estimates. Weather, holidays, carrier delays, and the occasional adventure beyond anyone’s control can affect delivery times.
Once a package has been handed over to the shipping carrier, we can’t control its journey. If your package seems to have wandered off into the wilderness, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help track it down.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with what arrives at your door.
If your order arrives damaged or you’ve received the wrong item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@trivialcircumstances.com. Include your order number and, if possible, a photo of the problem.
For approved returns, items should generally be unused and in their original condition. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, exchange, or refund.
Digital products, personalized items, and items specifically identified as non-returnable cannot be returned.
If you simply changed your mind about a purchase, please contact us anyway. I’ll let you know what options may be available.
Damaged Packages
Books and other treasures sometimes have unfortunate encounters with shipping boxes.
If your order arrives damaged, please take a photo of the packaging and the item and contact me as soon as possible. I’ll work with you to find a reasonable solution.

The books, illustrations, photographs, artwork, writing, graphics, and other creative content on this website belong to Trivial Circumstances Press or to the artists and creators credited with them.
You’re welcome to enjoy, share, and recommend the work. Please don’t reproduce, alter, distribute, or use it commercially without permission.
Buying a book gives you ownership of your copy of the book—not the copyright or other intellectual-property rights associated with the work.
